Littlefield ISD board ratifies certified staff contracts, records several resignations

After returning from an executive session on personnel that began at 7:51 p.m. under Texas Government Code Section 551.074 and concluded at 9:00 p.m., the Littlefield Independent School District Board of Trustees approved contracts for multiple certified staff members and recorded several resignations.
Mrs. Shawna Wagley Hastings moved to approve the certified contracts as recommended by administration; Garry Ozbirn seconded. The approved hires include Cameron Israel (Math, junior high), Karen Trevino (English, junior high), Ashley Cunningham (Science/Coach), Lara Caldwell (Dyslexia Interventionist, Primary), Tammy Green (part-time librarian, high school), Addie Geldenhuys (special education teacher, Primary), Amanda Torres (ELAR, Elementary) and Caroline McGrath (Band Instructor). The board also recorded resignations from Jayden Longoria, Kaylee Longoria, Kevin Kreutler, Esperanza Esquibel and Anissa Cantu.
