Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Operations (Miss Hagner) told the board the recommended 2026'27 general operations millage rate is 231.8 mills and the debt service rate is 93 mills, representing no millage increase from the prior year; the board approved the motion by voice vote.
Hagner also presented a resolution authorizing issuance of general obligation bonds not to exceed $10,500,000 for short-term borrowing (the district has three years to use funds and intends to repay when tax collections arrive in spring). She noted participation in the SCAGO pooled borrowing program to achieve better interest rates through a multi-district pooled structure; the board approved the bond authorization.
