The Delhi Charter Township Zoning Board of Appeals approved a variance on Aug. 10, 2026 permitting twelve (12) parking spaces for the property at 2536 E. The motion, moved by Member Dori Goodall and seconded by Member Betsy Zietlow, passed by a 4–0 roll-call vote with Member Glen Etelamaki absent and became effective immediately.
Planner Noelle Tobias presented staff report ZBA #26-186 recommending consideration of a variance to Zoning Ordinance Section 7.1.9(C)(5). Applicant representative Steven Kolber of KP+J Architects & Engineers told the board the requested reduction reflected a compromise with the Ingham County Drain Commission. The board opened a public hearing at 5:36 p.m.; no public comment was received. The motion language approved by the board stated, “To allow twelve (12) parking spaces, representing a variance of three (3) parking spaces from the required minimum of fifteen (15) parking spaces.”
