Commissioners appoint temporary chair and approve minutes, $462,184 in vouchers

Finance Director Alina Bell told the board the county is transitioning banking services after Citywide was acquired by UMB Bank and that new credit cards will be issued beginning Oct. 14. Bell presented this week's vouchers totaling $462,184.39 and recommended releasing payments, including "$154,495.85 to the housing authority" and a $22,862.67 payment to D2C Architects for EMS Station 1 work. A commissioner moved to approve the vouchers and the board approved the motion by voice vote.
The temporary appointment of Commissioner Ed Ragner was moved, seconded and approved by voice at the start of the meeting.
