Staff told the Planning & Development Board the county will start using new agenda software that will change how agendas appear online. Planning staff also reviewed attendance rules adopted by the Board of County Commissioners: a member who fails to attend three unexcused consecutive meetings, or five of 12 regular meetings in a 12‑month period, may be unseated.
Board members discussed remote attendance technology and the possibility of adopting local bylaws or procedures to reduce tie votes when membership is even, and staff said previously drafted bylaws could be reintroduced. Staff said remote participation will be allowed when a quorum is physically present and technology permits.
