Road & Bridge told the commissioners it is moving forward on planned fleet upgrades: three motor graders from Four Rivers priced at $746,639.85 each (after trade‑in) and a 2026 HV5155 plow truck for $360,508.86, with anticipated delivery in 2026.
"This is basically a continuation of our discussion last week about ordering 3 graders and a plow truck," Road & Bridge representative Zach Bridal said when presenting the proposal. Commissioners discussed contract execution and assured there is a guaranteed buyback that supports the purchase. The board moved to approve the purchase agreements and to authorize the chair to sign the necessary proposals and contracts.
The actions were approved by voice vote. County officials said ordering now will secure the units and align with the retirement schedule for older equipment.
