Grand County commissioners voted Tuesday to release $2,280,960.23 in vouchers and transfers, the largest being $1,628,687.45 to Big Valley Construction for September construction work on EMS Station 1.
"This week's batch of vouchers is $2,280,960.23," Finance Director Alina Bell told the board. She listed other major payments: $412,000 to the Grant Foundation for community priorities fall grants, $53,082.24 to Grand Gravel Pit for gravel replacement, $38,180 to GMCO Corporation for mag chloride used in road stabilization, and $25,942.29 for lighting accessories and warning systems to outfit a sheriff's patrol vehicle. Bell said itemized details are in the meeting packet and available for public inspection.
Commissioner motioned to approve the vouchers for payment on Oct. 29, and the board recorded unanimous vocal approval. The approval authorizes staff to release the listed payments the following day.
