"We've had communication, as early as this morning, regarding getting access to the $28,500,000 that was previously allocated for the purpose of capital facilities projects for the schools for the deaf and blind," Nielsen said, and added that access to those funds is needed to complete programming and meet the timeline for the 2027 legislative session.
