Commissioner Stevens flags SNAP cost-share pause, transportation priorities and an ozone conference

On transportation, he described participation in regional coalitions and work on safety projects for U.S. 287, and noted ongoing engagement with federal transportation reauthorization discussions that may involve continuing resolutions.
Stevens said his transportation work includes planning an ozone-focused conference and gave dates for the event: “October 26th to 28th.” He told the board the conference will convene Western-state scientists to discuss ozone control strategies and encourage consideration of financial feasibility by regional air-quality regulators.
