The representative explained Genoa's credit arrangement where the vendor returns medication value to the county in an amount equivalent to the agreed sublease credit (staff illustrated the concept with an example of an approximate $300 monthly offset). Commissioners had no further questions and voted to approve the item.
The committee recorded the motion and approved the consent item; staff said the arrangement helps stretch county medication funding for mental-health and substance-use disorder clients.
