The Log Cabin Planning and Zoning Commission approved the minutes from its Dec. 12, 2024 meeting and handled multiple permit items at its Jan. 14, 2025 meeting at Log Cabin City Hall.
Brandon Reyes moved to accept the Dec. 12 minutes and Dave Peterson seconded; the motion carried with a unanimous affirmation by the commissioners present. The commission then considered several permit applications and zoning items and returned them either to council for additional review or approved forwarding the application materials to council. No public comments were received during the meeting.
The meeting opened at 7:00 p.m. and adjourned at 8:40 p.m. City Secretary Leara Thorp provided a status update on the city's zoning map later in the agenda, and commissioners briefly discussed potential updates to Ordinance 31 (Zoning and Building Standards), but took no formal action on the ordinance.
