The Log Cabin Planning & Zoning Commission voted unanimously Dec. 12 to reject a building permit application for a proposed 1,702-square-foot single-family residence submitted in the name of Jesus Porras. Commissioner Joe Clark moved that the application for 14586 Santa Anna Trail be rejected "until all addresses are the same on all documents, including the warranty deed [and] survey to the 911 address," and Bill Sims seconded the motion. The motion passed with all members saying they were "All in Favor."
Commissioners identified a discrepancy in the applicant packet: some documents listed the address as 14586 while the survey and warranty deed showed 14590. The packet review noted the correct lot number was present on the survey and deed, but the Commission required that every sheet reflect the same 911 address and that any corrections be made and initialed by Mr. Porras before the City will accept the application again. No further action was taken at the meeting.
