Council closes public hearing on Davy Crockett CDBG water-line project; construction complete

Mayor Jennifer Williams said construction is complete, the engineer has finished the final inspection, and the City is working on the final closeout documents.
A resident asked whether the hearing covered a separate proposed water line; council members clarified the hearing pertained only to the Davy Crockett line. Councilmember Randy Page said the project "has gone well" and that, although it took time to start, construction moved quickly once underway. No public opposition or further comments were offered, and Mayor Williams closed the hearing at 7:06 p.m.
