Health & Human Services (S13) brought multiple board action forms forward at the May 6 meeting.
Staff recommended eliminating one paraprofessional case‑aid/bilingual position in the community health unit because the newly approved resource navigator/interpreter position (Kimberly Santana) replaces that function. The board approved elimination of the vacant position. S13 also presented a revised organizational chart: elimination of the administrative services manager position, addition of an accounting services supervisor, and creation of two lead eligibility worker positions in the financial services unit; the board approved those changes and asked for the organizational document to be distributed as public information.
Separately, HHS presented a revised IIFS contract with Greater Minnesota Family Services to continue community intensive bridging services. Commissioners confirmed the contract is fee‑for‑service and budgeted; the board approved the contract.
