The Uvalde County Commissioners Court voted to approve a preliminary plat proposed for the corner of County Road 305, presented by Jason O'Connell. The plat would divide the site into five 5-acre lots, each limited to a single household, with power provided at the road.
Jason O'Connell told the court each lot "will be 5 acres" and said the lots will have exempt wells (because each lot exceeds the minimum acreage) and on-site septic systems as allowed under TCEQ rules; he also said the wells would be tested for quality and flow. Commissioners had no outstanding objections during the hearing and approved the preliminary plat by voice vote.
The approval moves the project forward to later permitting and final plat stages; O'Connell said utilities and access are planned to meet county standards.
