The county ag inspector (S8) told commissioners the money "is gonna be used to spray the 3 miles of Township Road around the new Palmer Amaranth Fields to make sure the Palmer doesn't spread via township roads and then to spray any new roads with wild parsnip." The funding will be reimbursed by MDA after bills are submitted and reviewed by the county attorney. The board moved and approved acceptance of the grant.
