Michael Stueart moved to appoint Sykora for the remainder of the current term and the next full term; Jaime McCabe seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Council acknowledged Rob Blair’s service and noted his retirement from South Plains College as the reason for his resignation. The appointment will allow the LEDC board to continue its work on economic development projects without interruption.
