The board approved the districtwide safety plan for the 2026–27 school year and confirmed the required building‑level submissions were made.
“The discussion is what we had the hearing on it at the last meeting. This is the general general plan that needs to be submitted to the state. All 3 of the buildings have, submitted their confidential building safety plans to the state of New York,” the superintendent said, explaining the board previously held a hearing and that the plan must be submitted to state authorities.
The board approved the plan by motion and voice vote. The superintendent said building‑level safety plans are confidential when submitted to the state; no further operational changes were adopted in this meeting.
