Claymont board recognizes teachers, teams and support staff

The Claymont board used part of its Feb. 9 meeting to recognize staff and student achievements. The board acknowledged Taryn Householder as the CORAS Outstanding Elementary Teacher and recognized the high-school Mock Trial team (advisor Heather Dotts), the Power of the Pen team (advisors Alisha Mahaffey and Lindsey Tulak) and the Scholar Challenge team (advisor Brian Schilling) for placing third in the IVC.
Board member Ms. Campbell also publicly thanked maintenance and custodial staff and other employees for keeping grounds and buildings safe during recent severe weather.
