The designer for the project spoke on behalf of the homeowners and said the design was revised to comply with city code. When asked about landscaping, the designer said no replacement tree had initially been proposed but "we are willing to do that" and staff later confirmed the application includes a landscape plan showing one western redbud (24-inch box) to be planted. Commissioners moved, seconded and approved the permit subject to staff conditions.
