Resident urges big boost to Road & Bridge funding, proposes non‑CDL plow trucks

"You need to put several 100,000 of dollars into Road and Bridal, maybe 500,000," Davis said, arguing that the county should treat public right‑of‑way maintenance as a high priority and consider seasonal plow‑only employees and light‑truck purchases to avoid federal CDL requirements.
Commissioners did not make an immediate funding change on the spot but acknowledged the concerns and discussed the need for broader budget solutions and possible hearings to consider community priorities on road maintenance.
