Council approves sanitary sewer easement from Windstar Enterprise LLC

The Kearney City Council on the evening session closed public hearing No. 1 and voted to adopt Resolution 2026-13, accepting a permanent sanitary sewer easement granted by Camille Saudi, managing member of Windstar Enterprise LLC.
Sarah, who presented the easement request, told the council: "These are all sanitary sewer easements, or utility easements, but they're pertaining to sanitary sewer, and it is to serve essentially, the big lot on 39th And Antelope." She said the property had been replatted and the subdivision created a need to adjust easement boundaries so one easement captures a manhole.
A council member moved "to close public hearing 1 and adopt resolution number 2026-13 accepting the permanent sanitary sewer easement granted by Camille Saudi, managing member of Windstar Enterprise LLC," and another council member seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call with all members recorded as voting in the affirmative.
The resolution authorizes acceptance of the permanent sanitary sewer easement to provide service to the redeveloped lot; the council did not receive public comment on the item.
