Primary and Elementary students raise $2,419.50 for Rainbow Connection

During administrative reports on March 9, Elementary School Principal Heather Whipkey told the board that she and four students appeared on television March 8 to present the Rainbow Connection with donations collected by the Primary and Elementary buildings totaling $2,419.50. "They presented them with donations from the Primary and Elementary buildings totaling $2,419.50," the minutes record.
Boardmember Mrs. Grandison commended the effort and reported that Claymont collected and donated more money than any other school. The board recognized this accomplishment during the meeting's commendations segment.
