Council approves Butler 3rd Subdivision rezoning and final plat

Craig Bennett of Miller & Associates presented plans for Butler 3rd Subdivision on behalf of Butler Machinery Company, explaining that the proposed preliminary plat covers roughly 71.79 acres and includes dedication of Chase Avenue right-of-way and stormwater and sanitary infrastructure considerations. He asked the council to approve rezoning from AG to BP (Business Park) for approximately 4.71 acres and to accept the final plat.
Council moved to adopt Ordinance No. 87-98 to rezone the parcel to BP and later adopted Resolution No. 2026-55 to approve the final plat and subdivision agreement. The council recorded approvals by roll call and thanked the applicant for the presentation.
