By motion, the board approved Items A–O establishing board operations for 2026. The schedule adopted lists regular meetings at the Administrative Office on: January 12; February 9; March 9; April 13; May 11; June 8; June 30 (special); July 13; August 10; September 14; October 12; November 9; and December 14, 2026.
The board also approved committee assignments and administrative authorizations including designating the Treasurer as signatory for payroll and warrant checks, authorizing the Treasurer to request advances from the County Auditor and to invest interim funds, designating the Superintendent as Purchasing Agent, establishing a Records Commission (president, treasurer and superintendent), employing the legal firm Pepple & Waggoner as legal counsel, authorizing Treasurer to sign telecommunications agreements to comply with E-Rate rules, directing interest to be distributed per R.C. 42.22, setting mileage reimbursement at $.725 (72.5 cents) per mile and setting the district minimum wage at $11.00/hour as recorded in the motion. The motion to approve Items A–O carried on a roll-call vote with all board members voting yes.
