The council considered an amendment to Harrison City Code 7-2-14F that would make property owners responsible for sewer pump-out expenses. Mayor Wanda Irish reported that Shelley Roberts of the Idaho Rural Water Association will perform a rate study paid for by the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). "Shelley Roberts from Idaho Rural Water Association is going to do a Rate Study and it will be paid for by DEQ," the minutes show.
Joe Cornell moved to table the item and Josephine Prophet seconded; the motion passed unanimously. The tabled status indicates the council will consider the amendment after the rate study and any related analysis are complete.
