He reported that electrical work by Diamond Electric and concrete repairs are substantially complete, that the main pool meets an 8-hour turnover rate required for older pools, but that the wading pool pump and some leaks remain to be fixed. Jake also noted remaining items such as diving boards, handrails and perimeter fencing that have quotes and grant considerations.
Chair bundled the three contracts into a single motion; the motion was made and seconded and the council recorded a roll-call vote with all members answering "Yes." During the discussion a council member raised a concern that someone had filled the baby pool overnight and flooded the nearby pickleball court; a councilmember recommended stronger locks and limiting keys to a small set of authorized users. The chair took that security issue under advisement.
