The Lone Oak City Council on Nov. 12 approved three formal resolutions concerning road maintenance and records management.
Councilmember Wes Owen moved to approve Resolution No. 296-2024, a TxDOT Municipal Maintenance Agreement; Councilmember Barrow seconded and the motion passed 4-0. The council then adopted Resolution No. 297-2024 establishing a Records Management Policy (motion by Councilmember Owen, second by Councilmember Hogue) and approved Resolution No. 298-2024, a TxDOT Temporary Road Closure Agreement, with Councilmember Hogue moving and Councilmember Scott seconding; all motions passed unanimously.
Council recorded no amendments to the resolutions during the meeting. The TxDOT agreements put the city in a position to coordinate municipal maintenance and temporary road closures with the state agency going forward.
