Peotone board approves payrolls, accounts payable and special-event permit

The chair listed payroll totals for two pay periods: $71,475.29 (period ending 12/21/2024) and $68,325.11 (period ending 01/04/2025). The accounts-payable report for the period ending 01/10/2025 included a general fund payment of $154,630.08, MFT $6,019.21, capital-improvement $7,270.00, BDD $10,719.75, TIF1 $250 and TIF2 $1,916, for a grand total of $180,805.04.
The consent agenda also approved raffle licenses for the Will County Farm Bureau and the Peotone American Legion post and granted a special-event permit for an Earth Day/Arbor Day celebration at Cornerstone Coffee House (124 West Main Street) on April 27, 2025, with a planned road closure on Main Street between 1st Street and the first bump-out.
