Board postpones 2026 meeting schedule; shares updates on Verizon lease and community holiday event

Trustees debated options for the 2026 meeting calendar (1st/3rd vs. 2nd/4th Tuesdays and possible weekday changes) and agreed to postpone formal approval until the next meeting to allow members with scheduling conflicts to participate. John moved and the board voted to postpone consideration of approval of the 2026 meeting schedule to the next meeting.
Trustees also received a status update that the Verizon lease remains open and is expected to continue to be discussed in future meetings. Separately, Trustee Jen announced a community Christmas party set for Saturday, Dec. 6 from 2–4 p.m. at the fire station community room. "It's gonna be Saturday, December 6," she said when describing the event.
