"We were gonna go and do more work because now original plan was to relocate the public work center... it was much more expensive than we thought," he said, explaining the city will study upgrades and may add additional funding to future CIPs. Staff recommended treating the $2,000,000 as an initial amount and noted projects could be revisited in later CIP years once studies and site evaluations are complete.
Council requested cost estimates and asked staff to include potential future funding in forthcoming CIP revisions.
