Town staff reported that Peoples Bank loans for purchasing a vac truck and finishing the DPW building "are still in the works" and that the bank requested approved minutes and other documents before completing the loans. The minutes note staff hope the loans will be ready for signature soon.
Separately, Council member Jewel Blevins moved to approve purchasing a hydrant meter for around $1,500; the motion was seconded by Council member Jeremy Baker and approved unanimously. The minutes also note planned smoke testing has been delayed by rain and staff vacation.
