Board revises BSLRIA side-gate agreement and restores gate access
Summary
After resident representatives spoke, the LCWCID No. 1 board removed payment and insurance clauses from the BSLRIA side-gate contract, renamed it the BSLRIA Gate Agreement and voted to turn the side gate back on immediately with a signed contract due April 3, 2025.
The board considered item 6.5 concerning the Resident Association side-gate contract. Matthew Nesbitt, Phoebe Miller and Trisha Hughes spoke in favor of changes to the BSLRIA agreement. Director Teresa Stephens moved to omit the current payment and insurance clauses, rename the document the 'BSLRIA Gate Agreement' and require any future contract changes return to the board; Directors seconded and the motion carried.
The board also voted to reactivate the side gate immediately, with a deadline of April 3, 2025, for the BSLRIA to execute the revised agreement and return it for board signature.
