The manager also reminded the council that early voting begins next Monday at City Hall and that Buda is a busy polling location. He reported that the Edwards Aquifer/Edwards-related authority declared a critical stage drought for the region and that Buda will move to drought stage 3 effective Nov.4, with messaging and yard signage to follow. He noted TxDOT will begin lane closures Oct.27 at Robert S. Light and I‑35 for signal pole installation and that contractors will indicate when the signal will be active.
