The Buda City Council unanimously adopted an ordinance on first and final reading amending the facility rental and use policy and application forms. Staff said changes largely clarify existing practices and laid out when the city will waive fees, the cancellation/refund rules, and a new alcohol service page for specified facilities, including the welcome center and Stagecoach House once operational.
Council members asked about specific room hours and operational logistics; staff explained that rooms with separate entrances will be able to remain open past normal library hours and the building’s door-locking schedule and janitorial rounds will address security. "The front and back doors to the lobby will close at appropriate times," staff said. The ordinance passed with a motion and second and no public testimony was offered.
