Both resolutions enable the mayor to continue work with BEFCO Engineering and Langford Grant Management on applications seeking up to $5 million for the same water-line improvements known in materials as the 'Fred Line.'
Councilmember Macey Tidwell moved to approve Resolution R20260310A and Councilmember Paul McLaughlin seconded; the motion passed. A subsequent resolution authorizing continued participation in a Texas Water Development Board PIF grant was approved in the same manner. The resolutions allow staff and the mayor to proceed with grant application tasks when the application windows open.
