Open houses set, schedules to be released Friday; parents urged to complete Genesis forms

During the board meeting Mr. Casey delivered a school-operations report detailing open-house dates, schedule availability and athletics. "Open houses are starting at Moss School, that will be Thursday, August 27 from 01:15 to 03:15. Then at Campbell, that will be the same day from 12:30 to 2. And then at Edgar, that would be Tuesday, August 25," he said.
Casey told parents and students to complete paperwork on the district's Genesis system so schedules and homeroom assignments — which he said "will be made available Friday around 3PM" — can be accessed. He also noted fall sports and marching-band activities begin next week and that parents should check registration emails for orientation and session links.
Board members emphasized the need for families to finish Genesis forms so student schedules are available and operational issues at the start of the school year are minimized.
