Community Development Manager Lance Evans said the Planning Commission held a public hearing on March 12, 2026, received no public comment, and unanimously recommended approval. Councilman Blair Halverson asked about site access; Evans said the plan includes an extended cul-de-sac. Councilwoman Angie Petty moved to approve the ordinance; Councilman Jeremy Davis seconded. Mayor Rod Westbroek called for a roll-call vote; Council Members Davis, Dills, Halverson, Petty, and Winsor voted aye and the motion carried.
The ordinance changes the property's zoning designation and enables the applicant's two-unit plan to proceed through any required land-use permitting and building review. No appeals or further points were recorded at the meeting.
