Jamie Morley, staff, updated the Finance Committee on the village audit and end-of-year tasks on Sept. 15, 2025. Morley said she had requested a formal exit interview so she can learn which procedures to change in her first year in the role; the minutes say several findings were minor and there were no recovery findings.
Morley also said some UAN codes need cleanup because they were originally set up incorrectly years ago. She reported the audit cost is currently about $18,000, which includes a new cyber audit fee. The committee also briefly discussed end-of-year tasks and noted that vision insurance for employees needs renewal and that there will be no increase for this year.
