Finance Director and Clerk of Council Jamie Morley reported to the Finance Committee and the full council that the STAR Ohio account is liquid and funds can be transferred as long as legislation permits the Finance Director to do so.
Morley cautioned council members to watch for an audit exit interview invitation that should arrive by email and added that "there is at least a 2% interest difference between the STAR Ohio account and the SWEEP checking account." The Finance Committee will meet again Oct. 20 to continue its review of reports and next steps regarding transfers and the final audit.
