Fourth Street OPWC project to begin after Sauerkraut; Village covers 41% after $25,000 township contribution

Chief Gary Copeland said the Fourth Street Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) project is scheduled to begin after the Sauerkraut event and that a pre-construction meeting will be held soon.
"The Village is responsible for 41% of the project, while the OPWC will cover 59%," Copeland said, and he noted that Wayne Township contributed $25,000 to the project, which improved the Village’s multijurisdictional application score. Council received the update and Copeland thanked Wayne Township for the contribution. The pre-construction meeting and construction schedule will be announced as details are finalized.
