Warren County Kennel Club donates pet microchip scanner; requests road closure for museum auction

James Prickett, representing the Warren County Kennel Club, told the council the club donated a pet microchip scanner to the village to help return lost pets to their owners. He invited attendees to the Dog-OH-Rama at Armco Park next Saturday and Sunday and said the Friends Museum will hold an auction at the old Wayne Township Fire House on Sept. 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Prickett asked for permission to close the road in front of the firehouse (as had been done previously for the fish fry). Clerk Jamie Morley responded that the Museum would need to obtain a Special Events Permit; the clerk offered to provide the permit after the meeting. Council thanked the Kennel Club for the donation.
