Calvert council accepts judge's resignation and appoints Ron Zajac as municipal judge

Blackwell, dated Jan. 14, 2025, and appointed Ron Zajac as the city's municipal court judge effective Jan. 31, 2025. Council Member Walston moved to accept the resignation and Council Member Grimes seconded; both motions and the subsequent appointment passed with unanimous votes.
City Attorney J. McCullough provided comments on the resignation during the meeting record. Council Member Crabtree moved to appoint Zajac to the bench and Mayor Pro Tem Alford seconded.
