The Calvert City Council on Feb. 10, 2025 approved a slate of administrative and grant-related actions, including a resolution designating authorized signatories for the Community Development Block Grant—Mitigation (CDBG‑MIT) program under GLO contract number 24-065-103-E835 and adoption of several civil‑rights and grant-administration policies.
Council also approved an $18,000 maximum expense from the Industrial Fund for repairs to a city-owned building at 614 Main St., authorized the leasing of city-owned housing to Sarah Saavedra, approved an election contract with Robertson County and the Calvert Independent School District, and adopted a resolution appointing Tracy Stone as the accounting‑software Account Administrator. Multiple approval motions were recorded as "with a vote all in favor," with five council members present and one absent.
