The Burnet Consolidated I.S.D. Board of Trustees convened a special meeting June 1 at 6:00 p.m. in the BCISD Board Room. President Earl Foster announced a quorum and the meeting proceeded through several agenda items, including approvals and a budget workshop.
The board approved two motions — the 2026–27 voluntary benefits package and the Construction Manager-At-Risk delivery method for 2026 bond projects — each on a 5–0 vote with Trustees Mark Kincaid and David Bennett absent. The board tabled a position reclassification item for a future agenda and received a budget workshop presentation from Chief Financial Officer Clay Goehring. President Foster adjourned the meeting at 7:16 p.m.
