Wilfred Stubbs, speaking for the Killeen Rough Riders, asked the council to grant exclusive use of Wilson Ledbetter Park for the group's annual trail ride from Oct. 15–19, 2025 and to provide trash barrels for the event.
Council Member Cryer moved to approve the request; Council Member Pratt seconded and the motion carried unanimously. During the visit, Stubbs presented Street Supervisor Craig Arnold and Interim Police Chief Scott with appreciation plaques and gave Mayor Fuchs an $800 donation for the park plus twenty $30 Brookshire Brothers gift cards intended for community members in need.
