Greene County appropriates training supplement and surplus proceeds for EMS
Summary

The Commission approved two separate budget actions to support Greene County Emergency Medical Services.
Resolution C authorized a $23,860 in-service training supplement for EMS for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026; the minutes list the funding line (46330 Emergency Medical Services Training Programs) and the appropriation line items that include direct in-service dollars and related payroll taxes/benefits. Resolution D appropriated $23,735 in proceeds from the sale of surplus property to EMS (line item 718 Motor Vehicles) to support vehicle purchases.
EMS Director T.J. Manis and other officials were present for the ceremonial proclamation earlier in the agenda. The two budget resolutions were recorded as approved on the floor and will be posted to the county accounting system for the FY 2026 budget cycle.
