During public comment a resident asked for an update on enforcement of Law #3-2025 related to the Hectus property. Supervisor Bronner said that residents had been granted an extension in August as cleanup work was underway, but that the codes officer did not appear at a September court date; the board scheduled a new court date of Oct. 16, 2025.
Bronner also said a notification process will mail notices to residents who are not in compliance with the law. The minutes do not specify penalties or next enforcement steps beyond the rescheduled court appearance and the planned mail notices. The town did not identify the codes officer by name in the minutes; Bronner noted the missed court date as the reason for rescheduling.
