Chair Todd Goodwin announced the recent appointment of Tom Hopkins to the Council on Aging by Mayor Squailia and welcomed him to the board. Goodwin noted that the appointment changes quorum calculations: “Please note: With the appointment of Hopkins a meeting quorum will now be determined on a membership of twelve.”
Amanda Koeck told the board that Mayor Squailia reappointed Debbie Dion to the Council on Aging for another three-year term. Koeck also said that Margaret Padovano, Jim Craigen, Bonnie Hautala, and Joe Byrne are up for reappointment and that their names should soon appear on a City Council agenda. The agenda item was informational; the meeting record does not show a board vote on these reappointments.
