Council on Aging reminds members that amended bylaws and new attendance categories are in effect

Todd Goodwin and Executive Director Amanda Koeck reminded the board that amended COA bylaws were finalized and approved at the Jan. 8, 2026 meeting. The amendments include a clarification of attendance recording: Present, Excused Absence, and Unexcused Absence under Article IV, Membership, Section 2.
The reminder served as an administrative update; no additional bylaw amendments or votes were taken at the Feb. 12 meeting. Board members were asked to keep membership and attendance expectations in mind and to complete any required training related to conflict-of-interest rules as needed.
